What happens if…

We still use our mobile phones when we are in Petrol stations?

Nothing. Well, at least for me.

In Petrol Stations, we notice that there are signs that you need to switch off mobile phones when you are on queue and filling up your tank. Most people pay no heed to that. I am also guilty of that. Whenever sayang needs to fill up the gas tank, we never even bothered to switch the phone off, though I’ve heard in the past that an explosion happened because of this. And these are what sayang sent me just this morning.

Makes me think now…

  1. only happens when you’re calling someone HOT or you’re having a heated conversation.

Rhapsody: Hmmmmnn.. I guess it already happened to you once when you’re calling a HOT chick huh.. πŸ™‚

nga pala bro, what’s ur blogsite??

  2. more than a few times.

would it be particularly dangerous for someone to call you from a gas station?

Rhapsody: errrr… i don’t think so.. coz we all do that.. calling & picking up calls, but nothing happens.. hmnnn… so it means, i shouldn’t believe??? πŸ˜€

  3. LOL! That was a funny comment. Thanks for showing me this, I’m going to have to do more research and think about this one. πŸ™‚

Rhapsody: and tell me about ur research…

  4. PEI (Petroleum Equipment Institute) denies that this is true. There is no single documented incident of fire initiated by a cell phone, however, there have been hundreds of incidents that are believed to be caused by static electrical charge. The jump in electrical charge can occur when you open your door and go back inside the vehicle while refuelling.

So, my premise is more plausible, and for the safety of your friends especially ardent male admirers, discourage them from calling you on their cellphones in proximity of highly volatile fuel. This has been proven by my own extensive research and evaluation which, itself, has been considered for nomination for Ignoble Award.

The advice for your friends is predicated on the assumption that you answered my underlying question asked earllier. Did you?

Rhapsody: Thanks for the info, I just have read the study conducted by PEI as well the statement from Motorola.

πŸ˜€ U are such a funny guy.. yeah yeah yours are more believable hahah..
